Just watched it again and remembered how bad it was. The highlight was:

Where do you even begin with a quote like that?

You start by backing slowly out the door, making sure that you keep an eye on them to make sure that they don't lash out without you being prepared. Then you slam the door behind you and run as fast as you can.

They are absolute dangers.

If they get knocked out of the CL and don't make top 4 this season the FSG will bin him off rapido!
They are a hard nosed hedge fund who don't do sentiment. However, I think it will be wrapped up as him
going by mutual consent for a sabbatical after 3 highly stressful years and the death of his mother etc etc etc.
I can't see them bouncing back next season. They don't have either the depth of squad or the huge investment
required to do so.

Apologies if I was unclear here. I was not arguing that there are enough mitigating circumstances; I was saying (or at least trying to say) my expectation is that the owners will not consider sacking him & will do their best to write it all off as a bizarre freak of circumstance.

There’s still a large number thinking that they’re going to 05 this season and magic there way back out this hole they’ve dug themselves into. They live in permanent belief that the football gods always shine on them. I suppose why wouldn’t they when they’ve not been punished for anything in their history and a bad season for them is finishing in Europe with a trophy. Reality might hit home hard for a few the second they’re out the CL and it becomes clear to any of them that can count that they’re not going to be making the top 4.

Satan is on his holidays at the moment since the beginning of this year in fact.
If history teaches us anything with regards that lot, never, repeat never, write them off. Old Nick will be back at work soon.
