I think he started with the thought " as many people looking at me as possible" and worked backwards from there

His mother passed away January 19th I think, so he’s been mourning her and having to deal with everything else on top for a while. I cannot imagine the pain that causes, to be so far away and have to go through this, he of course is incredibly close with his family, and always spoke so fondly of his very protective and loving mother, and of his upgringing.

Yes Kloppo can be a real a rse with the press, becose he doesn’t like them - and rightly so, the English tabloid press are absolute scum, but this is just truly terrible for him, to have to deal with from afar. With the whole covid thing and sepereation from family, I can’t even imgine where his head is at now, and how tough it is for him.

The media couldve well picked it up about his sad bereavement from the German paper story on the press wires and then asked him for comment. Who knows. He clearly adored his Ma very much so. The dreadful travel situation affects all beyond money and status even with a heartbreaking loss. I dont think he has any reason to dislike the tabloid press here...theyve been kissing his and the club's arses for long enough with their sickening melodramatic gushing. I remarked on here after he'd been with the RS a year or so that underneath his kooky affable chappie number, he was a chippy nark. It clearly comes out when hes under pressure at the club as now with his team's sudden demise, his team selections being slated etc. Its not just with the tabloids either...hes a rambling nark on his sky/BT pre/post match interviews. I guess hes seeing a new side of the YNWA social media brigade too who can turn on a tanner to a sea of vicious vitriol in spite of what hes achieved for them. (Were no angels in that regard though theres no comparison whatsoever with what weve put up with.. and for donkeys years).
