In all honesty, the no fans thing helps the. A city fan said a few years ago, they are a burden, ot a help. I tend to agree. I cant think of any other clubs that has spent the billions on transfers, billions more on wages to win a single, highly disputed title. Their supporters are a big reason for it. They put them on edge.

I'd imagine the toxic atmosphere at Anfield now, on not seeing their hammer everyone would have the opposite affect. It would turn it j to late Benitez/early Hodgson territory.

The flip is, I also think theyd struggle being the target of opposing fans grounds as well. You could see that with 2000 fans at Fulham, who really goaded them before christmas. That pressure of being the team to beat, and having opposing fans making it especially hard would be harder for them than anyone else, and looking at the mental fragility of them would likely affect them far more than most equivalent teams.

Its utter rubbish. It's the same fairytales theyve been saying all season "wait till Thiago fit, best in the world" "wait till Trent/Fabinho/Hendo/Alisson/Mane etc are back. Well they were all back and you got hammered 4-1. Time to face facts.
