ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

I never really feel massively confident with City going there. Logically we shouldnt either, they are set up to do better against "better" teams. The hope is City keep it to 0. If they do, at some point I sense Liverpool will over stretch and an opportunity will come. If they went for a shoot out, I'd fancy Liverpool.

Hopefully Pep is sensible enough, just to keep it tight. Given United have dropped points too, a 0-0 is a great result for City. A draw for Liverpool and they have to finally accept City are winning their (as in City's) title again.
I think a draw gives them a faint hope. City will have a rough patch due to the condensed schedule. City should be looking to go for the kill today. Lose and the top 4 race becomes even more wide open with the 2 Manchester clubs looking secure but the other 2 places up for grab. Sadly I think we might end up with the RS and a rejuvenated Chelsea claiming the other 2 spots

City need to be clinical, they often have a couple of chances quite early on and I think the difference over last couple of years for them has been whether they convert them or not. If they don't that's when suddenly its 0-0 on 60 minutes and they have struggled (relatively of course).

That said they do look better than any point since 2019 so cautiously confident they will be ok today.

Won’t be watching the build up to this, can’t stand the rimming the RS get.
I will however watch Citeh rip them apart, an early goal and City’s tippy tappy football on the edge of the RS area, they’ll make an absolute show of them.

I‘ve done a player to be sent off, Sky will want the RS to win, wouldn’t be surprised if the ref is under orders to give a pen.
