ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

I honestly can't believe all this 'I want a draw' talk. I've never, ever wanted Liverpool FC to get a point in any game, ever - and I don't foresee a time when I ever will. Would I prefer someone else to win the title other than United? (And no, we aren't going to, we all know that). Yes, of course. I'd prefer most other teams in the prem to win it. Spurs, Chelsea, City, even someone like Villa. But essentially, as long as it isn't Liverpool then I DO NOT CARE.

If I try to imagine myself at the end of the game shouting 'Yes!' as Salah or Mane get a deflection or a dodgy pen to equalise in the 92nd minute, I feel frankly nauseated. I want United to bang as many goals past the absolute knobwhistles as they possibly can. As I always do and always will do.

I loathe and detest them with the intensity of a thousand suns, and nobody else even comes close.

I remember in the 80s hoping that they'd draw as that was the best result for us. I hope to be doing the same very soon as it means we'll be back up at the top.

I remember just wanting them to disappear down a big black hole in the 80's 90's, 2000's 2010's & 2020's

I'm still a firm believer that if it happens, the footballing world and general population will be all the better for it.

it’s almost like there is a mindset change brewing, no longer are the team living vicariously through the results of others, it’s about us.

to progress we need to change, this is part of it. A draw is a better result for Everton, if Salah dives and the get a pen last kick of the game to draw, happy days.

I just can’t be bothered with the media proclaiming them the greatest team of all time if they scrape a lucky win against United at home. Liverpool need the win after three games without winning so them drawing or losing keeps them in crisis a bit longer. Either of those two results also gives City the chance to move 4 or 5 clear if they win their games in hand. United will drop points at some other point and might not stay in the race.

Here’s to United absolutely dismantling them.

I wonder how long before the commentary mentions us? Oh that’s right they won’t because we won’t be playing and have nothing to do with it! Yet they get mentioned every single time we play without fail!

They’ll probably mention ‘horror tackle from Jordan Pickford’ which seems to be a new catchphrase for some. They can’t say since he was injured, it has to now be ‘since he was injured at Everton by a horror tackle by Jordan Pickford’.

How the media see it
Jordon the Rat Pickford, took out a double barrel shot gun and blew poor St Virgil leg off, before pulling out a machete and chopping it up.

What really Happened
Jordon Pickford bangs in to a offside VVD (with a miss timed tackle) who should of already been sent off for 2 terrible tackles on Everton players

Your a novice Maccavennie, I wanted them down that hole in the 60's, 70's as well. God I'm old.

Until about 10 games from season end, I only worry about Everton results and not of those around us.

You can of course think of connotations for the future where it would benefit us if that shower won. But we are far enough away from that for me not to waiver from my desire to see the RS get hammered in every match they play. Including today.

Within the first 5 mins if not earlier I’d say.
Martin Tyler won’t be able to sleep tonight with excitement.
He will have the script produced for him by the SKY producers
under his pillow. How long before the gushing plaudits start for
Thiago Alcantara? I’d say after his first 3 yard sideways pass.
I need to watch this one with the volume turned down.
The first 5 sentences of the presenter opening the show.
