Looking at their lineup today they had one player missing from their best first 11 (Van Dijk). Fabinho was moved back (by choice) and other than that they didn’t have a first choice team player missing. We had 3 against Chelsea.

Anyone know what the handball rule in the penalty area is nowadays? From my understanding the RS penalty should never have been given. Defender's head is turned away and his arm is aligned with, and not outside of, his body. Wouldn't surprise me if Salah was aiming at the line of the heads of the players in the wall. They've got previous on that sort of thing.

I think the answer is No.

From the radio comms, it sounded like he had lobbed his arm towards the ball. When I saw it, the arm was tucked into his chest, he jumper with the wall with his head facing away, and it just hit his upper arm.

It's pure and simple: their best players are all two years older and have lost their intensity.
