The amount of oddballs that follow clubs like Liverpool and Utd for the reflected glory as they lead lonely lives is quite sad in fairness.

the list from the premier league alone would be huge, never mind all of Europe, never mind of all time. He’s maybe not even the best Dutch centreback, I’m not even sure he’s the best in Liverpool’s history.

He has been massively overhyped. A good player yes, but nowhere near the very best in the history of the game.
