ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

As Chelsea manager, Lampard has lost every match to Klopp's Liverpool, so how do you arrive at that statement??!!!!
For one, he cuts right through Jurgen's bs and calls him out on it. Lampard has Klopp's measure in regards to mind games. Chelsea will improve dramatically in the next few weeks. The rs are almost back at their limit.

This never gets answered to me. He was at Bayern for 7 years, they got nowhere in Europe really (relatively speaking). At times they got humiliated. Then a new coach, lots of new players etc and they win the CL. Yet it's the guy who's been a main stay for the years previously who's the reason why. Like he's single handedly won it.

Bayern were happy to let him go. He's good, but let that sink in.
Thats what I was thinking when they were raving about him.

Thiago is obviously a brilliant footballer, but he averages like 20 games a season for his entire career which tells me he is either injury prone or inconsistent.

I also think its funny how if you asked anyone who the best centre midfielders in the world where 6 months ago I doubt many would mention Thiago. But all of a sudden when the link happened he was bigged up to the max and is the "best midfielder in der werld".

He had a good game in the final, so for those who don't understand football and watch a handful of games a season they can then jump on the bandwagon. You will see the same impulse (as we saw, typically from a Liverpool fan on here) that say James was only great in the 2014 world cup, without realising what he did for Bayern.

Couldn't get near Madrid's starting line-up the last 15 or so games if we're dealing in facts...

This might just be me being my usual cynical self, but do you reckon the overhype is in response to our (warranted) reaction and hype over Rodriguez coming to us and now the media and RS are trying to somewhat steal our thunder?

I have mates banging on about how Thiago is the most high profile signing Liverpool have ever made because of his trophy cabinet. But to me the signing is relatively obvious and I'd expect them to attract players of his stature. I'm also less wowed about his trophies considering he's gained them playing in a 2 team league and a 1 team league.

Whereas us attracting Rodriguez is genuinely a miracle considering we finished in the bottom half of the prem last season and they won the league with nearly 100 points so should be able to attract players from Europe's Elite. Especially ones with 1 year left on their deals.

Thats a large part to do with it. They have got very jealous we have signed a genuine world star. They've gone and attempted a b rate version of him. In spite of all the attempted and forced excitement, nobody outside of their bubble really notices or cares, as they know he's just not of the same profile or ability as James.

I'm sure he will do well forthem. As I've said throughout Thiago is a good player, though well before Liverpool were really linked to him I said he would probably struggle to replicate his performance level in a high octane league/style. Some of the comments about him, like the champions league performances were a "montage to Thiago" is just embaressing. Why can't they just tell the truth and say he had a good game?

I mean it's funny how when their single biggest star has left, they scored 8 goals at the weekend. Far from missing him, early indications are they look a better team without him.

Have they written any gushing welcome to Liverpool poems or soppy stories on rawk yet?

So Liverpool having 4 wins (3 in the league, 1 Super cup) and lose 1 in the FA cup with a team that doesn't start with Salah, Firmino and doesn't even have Alisson, TAA or Wijnaldum in the squad, constitutes Lampard having Klopp's number.

If you like, mate...

I didn't say that at all.

You said that Lampard had lost every match to Klopp.

Which is a false statement.
