ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

FFS, this copper isn't doing himself any favours is he?

Just STFU and do your job you useless get.

Maybe that's why his officers have done naff all to deal with the RS idiots?
Not being funny but 3000 people don't just suddenly appear at once...
First sign of gatherings and they should have been out in force turning them away...
They should have delayed kickoff/potentially postponed the game if the orcs didn't turn back

Piece of piss to seal that place off after rush hour. They just didn't want to.

I hope that the Chief Constable will answer peoples legitimate criticisms over the crowds at Anfield last night. This Dispersal Zone chocolate fireguard should surely have been in place first thing yesterday rather than at 9.30pm when the hordes were already well thronged in situ. Apart from the very serious threat of the virus being spread, the ubiquitous RS incendiary flares were present which surely also compromised public safety ? Getting to be a habit innit....
Thing is I'm sure I saw them post about dispersal zones for the town centre, anfield and Stanley park well before kickoff....

Wonder if they'll ever realise that crowds gathering during a pandemic isn't a worry solely from a crime point of view.

"Yeh no crimes were committed so it's all good that they mingled for several hours"

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Assistant Chief Constable Natalie Perischine, from Merseyside Police, said "the vast majority of the crowd were good natured and had dispersed by 02:00 BST".

"Thankfully we didn't see the sort of incidents of disorder and criminal damage we saw at the Pier Head on 27 June, the investigation into which has seen more than 20 arrests made to date," she added.

"We would like to thank the overwhelming majority of Liverpool fans who listened to that advice and celebrated their team's success at home," she said.

What a bunch of surrender monkeys.

Scandalous the way they're on the run from the cult.

That attitude comes from the top of the organisation.

Dont we have a police commissioner? Jane Kennedy or some other paper tiger.

Great job that of enforcing their own dispersal order placed yesterday at 21:30. They only went home at 2am because they were knackered, nothing to do with the police.

As I say, I’m happy to slag anyone and everyone who argues and point scores on twitter. Whatever their chosen stance, target or field.

but, the “bandying of it about” was entirely necessary for years and years while nothing was being done by authorities. I wore a JFT96 sticker on my jacket happily whenever I was offered one, many years before justice was even considered likely, and was proud to.

Edit: my point I guess is there’s plenty of other things to go after them for. I’d rather we leave Hillsborough out of it.

Oh I don't know. Having someone come on here pretending to be a blue and witnessing his fellow blues make crushing gestures to point score on the internet is the day they are bandying it about. I think people are genuinely fed up when Giles from Essex says it's for the 96 when he wasn't born then, never knew what it was like to go to a football match in them days and therefore is bandying about an event which has no association with the abomination of a club they have since become.

I said to you last night, they're an absolute disgrace. Thus might sound odd, but I blame the likes of them, and senior journalists at the Echo etc morethan the knuckle dragging racist boneheads who go to such things. They're beyond saving but you really expect better.

They're too busy ploughing horses into peaceful orotestors highlighting racism, of attacking black people havign private parties in their own homes to deal withthe hundreds of idiots wreaking needless havoc on our streets. All he wants to do then is brag about it. He should clear off and stop sponging a living off of my taxes.
