ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Disgusting cult, why don't the FA just lift the trophy with them and pay for their crappy pyro's with money gained from the small clubs going into liquidation. That kopite police chief will be in the middle of these celebrations that will inevitably happen, bet that saddo has booked the day off in his calendar. I've never met a cult go so wild celebrating such a meaningless trophy win.
Tell him to bring his hat and raid the evidence cabinet for some beak. He'll fit right in.

Lets spend £1m on fireworks and a disco to cheer them up
Joking apart it's an outrage that poverty exists let alone at such high levels throughout the city, region and country in general with the money sloshing around. I'd welcome both clubs working together to tackle the causes and problems that affect us all due to poverty.

Sadly only one club is interested in helping its community whilst the other seems hell bent on running it. You'd have to try really hard to actually find that being reported anywhere though.

Bit snide to use this. We spent over £100 mil on our terrible midfield and it's certainly not cheered anyone around Goodison Rd up
Its not snide at all, buying players is part of the business of a club,to bounce round shouting you are the equivelant of St Pauli, pretending to be socialist, then spend a £1m in the middle of all this to feed your own ego is wrong, the only snide thing is that monolith in Anfield raking money in while that poverty is around them

Agreed, but please anyone who decides to get into discussions with them (I no longer do since their Pier Head chaos) just remind them of one, simple, easy to check, fact; they were founded by a tory.

This is the day i've been utterley dreading for 30 years.

I'm trying to stay awake until late tomorrow afternoon in the hope i'll sleep for two days non-stop to avoid the worst of the media 'fest' and RS gloating. What dreadful times we live in, what a [Poor language removed] world.

That hate this fact, he was also an orange man, another fact a few of my older mates hate is that song they sing "scouser Tommy" it's an orange lodge song!

I wouldn't worry. Nobody outside of them and the media really care. It's yesterdays news now. They know it, Sky know it, the BBC know it.

And we might all get cheered up if they set fire to something again (or themselves, preferably) and further rub their public image in the dirt

If ever a RS title win could be described as 'good times' for us, this is as close as it will ever get.

Lord, how poetic would it be if one of those cretins set off a rocket right up his own beak?

Indeed.

I have been surprised at how little this title win has impacted my life.

Even the Kopites I come in contact with on a daily basis are subdued about this borefest.

No stirring finale to see them home, no magic goal to clinch the title due to City’s loss being the clincher, no lining of the streets round the Pit to intimidate the opposition, no Nuremburg type rally inside the ground when the trophy is presented tomorrow night, no parading the trophy round the city next Monday.

Believe me, those buggers haven’t waited 30 years only to miss their chance to rub supporters of other club’s noses in it.

This is such an anticlimax for them.

As you say, if they were going to end their famine, becoming champions in the time of Covid has really mitigated its effects on us.
