ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Watching part of the City game last night the whole thing is even more of a farce that I imagined it would be. These are genuinely like training ground kick abouts, no drive, no passion, no enthusiasm. It's like playing 9 pre-season friendlies.

3 months ago big red were looking at an unbeaten season, record points total, league won by March, winning it at Goodison or the Etihad and a non-stop party at every game for the remainder of the season into the summer.

And now this....winning it in an empty stadium with the attention of the World on far more pressing issues than them. Their best ever season ruined.

Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch.

Honestly, what is wrong with them?

What is this even for? Where are they going to take it? To the match?

There's quite clear homophobia and misogyny in those banners. As far as I was aware both are considered hate speech. Maybe Merseyside Police need to have a look at the production of hateful and illegal banners being made public available and criminalise the individual who made them? I mean call me a snowflake, but putting up offensive and hateful messages for all the world to see against minorities doesn't seem to fit the current zeitgeist around BLM etc?

The media, or at least one fella on a podcast, according to the Express, are still convinced that Werner is going to join them even though Chelsea have announced his signing this morning, all because of his £53m release clause not been activated (Chelsea have paid £47m)

Not just them, I've seen the most desperate links to their activity on various telly channels, anything, absolutely anything they can tie into will have some pug ugly gimp in red as its image.

I hate them, I do, I really, really hate them.
There does seem to be a very keen interest in oral sex on their recent banners.
Nothing wrong with it, mind, just keep it to the bedroom eh, reds. Football is a family game after all ;)
