ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Theres a documentary on Belgian TV tonight about heysel.

Guess whose fault it isn't.... the Kopites on on this 5 minute preview turned my stomach. The absolute bad people saying they laughed at the police arresting them for manslaughter later... well, I have no words.

It boils my blood how they just ignore Heysel as if it never happened :-(
There's a swiss tv documentary 'Le drame du Heysel' (85) just running through being at the stadium all day and what was happening and its shocking to view on so many levels :-( Talking with Juventus and Liverpool fans and you can physical feel how their heads are never going to be the same after that day :-( and then finishs with but EUFA decided to play match and Redshite won :-(
Probably because it was so long ago.

Were you watching BGOT at the same time?

I'm watching Sky Sports and I'm guessing that they are hoping that City lose to Arsenal and Everton lose at home to the RS. Then again I'm a bit biased so I'm probably mistaken.

So... this doco is pretty good it has the chief of police at the ground, Trappatoni, the Juve coach and president and the mayor of Brussels.

From the Liverpool side they got a who went to prison who didn't do nuttin, la. And a sentence from Grobbelar saying it was never a penalty.

On the plus side, my Belgian girlfriend started off telling me not to get angry and now understands why I hate them so much.

To be fair it may be the first time their fans have ever seen punctuation before.

To be fair I'm pretty sure when they lift the trophy it'll be spectacularly embarrassing and tainted with outside trouble.

Elbow bumping each other in an empty stadium as a trophy presentation will be a peculiar sight. As will the fans getting police dogs sent after them outside the Pit.
