I would say staging the AFCON in January is looking a pretty forlorn hope at the moment.

I was there for that! We had a fair few fans on the pitch when McCall equalised first time but after the final whistle it was a debacle. You could see the Liverpool players desperate to have the fans off the pitch but nope, totally ruined the victory walk round the pitch. Shame.
