I've missed some fun , here . Was that the whopper/cryer's one and only post ?
One post and then binned off. Let's be honest, I fully understand why Liverpool fans would want the season finished because of their clear vested interest.
You can't argue that they've haven't been the best team this season, and if we were in that position (close to the title) you'd be feeling nervous and aggrieved.
However, the reason we'd be feeling the same would be because of the same vested interest: their only real concern right now is for their own success.
If you take away the tinted glasses with the subjective perspective, football isn't important and the likelihood of the league finishing is getting slimmer all the time.
Should this season being delayed impact on next season, which with the year after are two congested seasons due to internationals, and the cup competitions?
Also, you've got the health of the players, the staff, sponsors and many other competitions and it's being balanced versus the desires of one or a few teams.
It is unfair on them - let's be honest - but it is not just about them. If they could acknowledge at least that, perhaps there'd be more sympathy for them.
I don't suspect they will though because far too many of their following are entrenched in their one-dimensional dogma. A very simple question for them...
... if football was to restart and someone died, or more than one person died, would they be happy for people to look at who to blame? Would they feel guilt?
This is all about peoples lives pure and simple! If they're given the title, so be it and let them and others deal with the potentinal legal ramifications of it.
