ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

I dont see why this is even an issue? If they do get it handed to them or not who give a toss as People are dying from a deadly disease but some people just seem fixated on the RS being handed a bloody trophy or jizzing their pants of them being denied it.

Will all this gleefulness around the RS losing out are these same people going to still be buzzing when they start losing loved ones to this disease? My parents have underlying medical conditions and this virus would finish them off and I couldn't give a toss if that lot across the park get handed a bloody pot in the grand scheme of things.

Some people need to get some perspective. Ask yourself this. Would it have been worth it possibly losing a loved one to this totally unprecedented disease that has stopped the RS picking up a bit of metal?

Didn't think so.

I would happily see the RS win the quadruple, rather than have an incurable disease rampaging across the globe.

But this is the reality we live in sadly, so we can try and find small crumbs of comfort to be positive about.

I have been hospitalised by a 'flu like illness' 20 years ago, and it was terrifying.
No one knows how this virus will effect them once it infects.

Respiratory conditions like this are scary.

Everyone knows what it's like to choke and how terrifying it is not to breathe.

My chest was so bad last week i couldn't walk up the stairs. I'm 39, swim 5 times a week, do zumba and circuits, walk everywhere and i literally couldn't breathe. No energy in my body.

I'm on second course of antibiotics now and 3rd day of steroids and my chest feels loads better but if i caught that on top i doubt I'd be here.

Glad you are on the mend bud.

I think that is the point loads are missing.

You are more vulnerable if you are old and frail, but nobody knows how the virus will react to each individual.

I was attending raves, playing squash, football, circuit training and the Gym when I started with my symtoms. I felt like I was going to die and that was terrifying. I was in my early 20's.

After all the tests and analysis, they never uncovered what exactly it was or the cause. An unknown, non transferable, flu like virus.

It also returned 5 months later, though less aggressively.

Apart from the contributory factors such as age, other medical conditions etc you never know how a virus will hit you as an individual. Sleep well, eat well, protect your immune system.

I'm not sure if that was a joke before @Barnfred 55 , im tired. But i don't see any reason apart from age it would be mostly tories, not that it matters.

Working class live more densely together, have poorer life expectancies and physical health generally, more unlikely to have check ups and find underlying conditions, more likely to have conditions, more likely smokers....etc.

This isn't someone else's problem.

Few are dying from it compared to known cases. It’s still worrying I know but it won’t be as bad as what you make out, unless one of your family die of course

Yeah it only takes one person for it to be life altering for someone.

I don't think our society is prepared for something like this and im talking general population.
There's a lack of process, discipline, knowledge, training...

Obviously you can't provide exactly but people's infection control knowledge and procedures are shocking.

250 people died in Italy in 1 day yesterday.

When we start getting 250 people per day dying here, which there’s every possibility we will now, then the gravity of the situation will really hit home.

In the space of 1 week manila has gone from 4 new cases to 98 cases and 3 deaths.

This is going to take a lot of getting used to for some...not good vibes at all.
