ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

I think the last 2 games have shown how vital Henderson & Milner are to their engine room - they looked awful in midfield yesterday.

Interesting to see how this result affects the derby - they would have come into that up for it not wanting to lose their unbeaten streak to us likewise I think we would have also been as up for it wanting to be the ones to end it.

Pressure will now be off both sides to an extent but I dont know if that works in our favour or not - probably another 0-0 / 1-1 dour draw now!

My missus said the same. Their fans slag off Henderson but he's the one who sits there in the engine room and keeps things tucking over and also kicks off to keep them on their toes.

A team has been threatening to tonk them for a while so no surprise someone finally done it yesterday.

Time for us to take care of our business today and make it a perfect weekend

That loss had been coming all season. A decent side who have benefitted massively from corrupt officiating/VAR, a lack of competition, and most probably doping. They’re nowhere near the vintages of the great United Arsenal Chelsea or City teams who could genuinely play you off the park with ease. This lot just unnaturally outrun you, dive for some pens, and have most goals against them chalked off. FFS 34 year old Milner has covered more ground in a single game than any other player this season. Milner who wasn’t good enough for City about 5 years ago and did nothing under Rodgers. Milner and Henderson were the laughing stock of English football around 2012-15, with the national team yet suddenly are absolutely monstering the best midfields in Europe and every single one in the premier league every week sometimes three games in a week. Wijnaldum could barely play away from home for Newcastle he was so physically weak and was massively injury prone. He’s also an absolute monster now, as are Lallana and Oxlade Chamberlain both inconsistent ineffective players who have suddenly turned into physically imposing dominating midfielders. Fabinho also looked completely all over the place until he disappeared for a few months for no reason and returned an absolute monster. Van Dijk barely played for Southampton towards the end his injury issues were so bad, hasn’t missed a game for Liverpool.

Would not be surprised one bit if it all came out years in the future. That side that got battered by Watford yesterday are nowhere near good enough quality wise to be a team that has won every game this season.

Probably been mentioned but see the brawl in a Liverpool pub, looked like a family place. Same night as their loss.. hmmm. Wonder if it will get a mention in the echo

Edit - found the article on twitter. Its our fault again. We ruin everything

it would be nice to think they will just collapse like a house of cards now. Might happen if they go out the CL
A bit like this...?

In 1973, ridden by Brian Fletcher, Red Rum won his first Grand National by spurting ahead in the last 100 yards of the course to pass Crisp, who had held the lead during most of the race, and beating him by 3/4 length in the record time of 9:01.9.But
