ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Their wage bill is £311 million including bonuses (CL win), and it's only 58% of their turnover, they are a financial behemoth now.

They should be hitting over £600 million next year easy with the increased TV money in the PL and CL.

One thing that does stand out though, their match day revenue (£88 million) lags way behind their TV (£261 million) and Commercial revenues (£188 million), something to mull over with BMD.
That’s some fairly in depth knowledge of Liverpool’s finances there....

As in we have to also increase Tv and Commercial revenue, we cannot just rely on match day income from a new stadium to think it's going to elevate us into a winning team again.

What gives a club spending power is being in the PL/CL together and having loads of commercial partners which in turn increases spending power.

An owner spending money is good, but once you're in UEFA competition then you're watched like a hawk in regard to how much you spend and those losses that come from spending beyond a clubs means.

No one thinks a new stadium is going to multiply our spending power x100.

Lucky Everton have increased their income from commercial partners by 90% in the last 3 years then, isn't it?

The whole their owners are great owners as they don't take out money is a farce.

The reason they don't is because they paid 300m and the club is now worth 1.7billion in a few years will be worth over 2 billion and they will walk away with a couple of billion profit for just over a decades work.

They are getting rinsed. Easy money

Don't know why the RS mutants, who somehow are able to still post on here, are so fascinated with talking about Finances. You're the first club ever in the world to win the league without spending any money, remember that's the line you like to bore everyone with. So bore off and go and talk about how much money your murdering, racist club makes on your own forums. No-ones arsed.

They’d also have a lot more money if they didn’t give out gift bags on how to be Liverpool fans to day trippers

It'll get worse next year surely....
Imagine all their commercial deals have bonuses for winning the league etc...

Only a few million behind Utd in turnover now. Yet Old Trafford holds 20k more.
