ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

How much are you sticking it up for, I was thinking 5 tonne but those knobjockeys over the road are getting rinsed for a minimum of over 300 at the moment for a normal game, the queue for season tickets in the king Harry is out the door and and down the road. Olaf and his balloons are waving cash like it's out of fashion, there even turning up from Scandinavia without a guarantee of a ticket, 20 minutes after kick off if they haven't got a ticket their paying 20 quid a taxi back into town to watch it in a pub.... I'm thinking a grand, it'll pay for my aways for the rest of the year, and the first few of next season.

I'd never have a blue of in my life but those loons wanna watch there first title win in 30 years they'd better understand it's through the nose they'll pay.
I dunno, I want enough to pay my season ticket, thing is we could put it up for 500 then someone goes the job office gets of then sells it for more outside.

Prob going to go down as the greatest premier league side ever if they continue like they have

Shocked at how poor city have been this season
No they're not, when United had VDS, Evra, Ferdinand, Vidic, Fletcher, Carrick, Anderson, Scholes, Giggs, Ronaldo, Nani, Tevez, Berbatov, Rooney, Park Ji Sung even lesser players like Welbeck, Foster, Brown and a few others were quality. When Arsenal had players like Seaman, Campbell, Adams, Toure, Cole, Viera, Henry, Berkamp, Pires, Llunberg and a few others their team was packed with quality from front to back. Look at some of the teams Chelsea and City have had they're much better than Liverpool. Also I'd argue Liverpool's 2013/2014 season was better than they're team now and as much as I hate to say it they deserved to win the league that season.

They had players like Agger, Skirtel, Gerrard, Coutniho, Suarez, Sturridge and Sterling they were destroying teams at one stage. The reality is clubs are spending huge amounts on average players, look at the contribution players like Baines, Lescott, Jags, Coleman, Arteta, Pienaar, Cahill even players like Distin, Felaini made at Everton, compared to a lot of our current players who cost a lot more. Pickford makes countless mistakes, just like Howard, yet cost a lot more than him. It's not surprising that any team who put in the slightest effort will do well. look at Sheffield United for example they're outplaying teams like Spurs, Chelsea, Arsenal who have spent far more money than them. We gave them a victory a few weeks ago, Arsenal couldn't even beat them when they wanted to lose, which shows you the level of commitment their players have. Barcelona have them the trophy last year could of easily won 4-0 if Demble didn't pass it at the keeper, they give them 2 goals in the second leg and missed numerous chances in the second leg. When teams actually get at them, such as Napoli, Wolves, United a few other teams they don't look that good. I think it's more a case of everyone else being poor than them being great.

there was a section on a R4 programme (More or Less) on Friday, this programme normally looks at statistics and how they are portrayed and how misleading they can be. Anyway, they Ran a section on the RS asking are the best ever or just lucky. They used there Expected goals algorithm thingy (I don't know what that is or how it works) and ran over 800 computer runs of how games would have played out, and the best of these computer simulations only had the RS about 10 points ahead, most had City much closer, so the long and short of it is that they are luckier than the luckiest of predictions (or something else is at play).

Didn't need a computer to know that. lol But thanks anyway.;)

I put Mourinho's 04-05 team as the PL best so far.

Unbelievable defence with Terry and Cavalho, Essien Lampard Makalele midfield and Drogba Robben and Cole front 3, Cech in goal as well. Hard to score against, 14 goals conceded and they could grind games down and also blow you away by 4-5 goals.

They would shut Pep's great City side of 18 and 19 with ease.

Thanks for that. I’ll sleep much easier now.

My missus is a red and has asked me to give her my ticket for the game so she can watch them win it....

Told her I'm selling it on StubHub, so she said if you give it to me you can have anything you want at all ..... I told her sound, give me a grand then....

I'm not arsed, I can tug myself off to Kylie Minogue videos for the rest of the year, sod her....

What does 'anything you want' mean... And how many PM's have you received this week!!?
