ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Anyone read the BBC Sport match report on last night's match? It's entitled "Villa overwhelm Liverpool's youngest-ever team" and the report was filled with tons of stats to ram home just how young and inexperienced the Liverpool team was, and how it was a "unique game". Apparently, their combined shirt numbers were 737! How kopite-ish was it to even think of totting up those shirt numbers.

They talk about how much possession the RS had, but were "undone by two freak goals." Er, they lost 5-0.

My personal favourite was "Of course, given the unique circumstances, the result should almost come with an asterisk." Typical unbiased reporting from the BBC. It reads more like a match report from someone on RAWK.

The fella reading the news on BBC radio 2 last night wasn't taken in by it all, he said "and In football, Aston Villa hammered premier league leaders Liverpool"

Hello mate.

Just curious to know when you bit the bullet and started using ‘you’ instead of ‘we’?

I am not from England which you might've guessed from my not so good English. I am from Germany and I am strongly against the Bayern hype here. I hate teams that are being hyped up beyond what they are really worth. I thought it was clear from my posts.

Aw at least even in a 5-0 defeat, the next Academy protege' has put a smile on the gushing ones face.

They'll soon be doing what they did with Sterling and passing this cocky bleeder off as another Academy success....when in fact he was bought from another London club. Still RS rules apply in their alternative twilight zone : "if we say it often enough its true...and if we dont mention it, it never happened"
