ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

I didn’t check because I wasn’t bothered. I don’t have any agenda and I don’t care for something that happened long time ago. Same reason I don’t care about bringing up Heysel. I just wanted to put it out here because it was the first time I read something like that. I was trying to search if it’s possible for footballers to use PEDs for being successful and that article showed up. I didn’t come across any other article accusing any other club so that was the reason I was slightly shocked. However it’s too old to have any relevance now.

The Klopp appointment date and article date are close by and by no means that article was meant to cover up RS doping their way to win the league which was the idea of some post here. All I wanted to highlight that it wasn’t the case. All you wanted to highlight is I was wrong and Klopp was appointed before that article was posted and thereby implying that it might be cover up for RS which is simply BS.

Look I didn’t know I was about the get such response here for referring to that article. As someone said that this was discussed here before so I don’t know what’s the fuss about it. If no one like discussing it then it’s fine too. No problem. Let’s move on
I have not implied anything. I was, as you first suggested, just pointing out that you were wrong to add weight to my point that you haven't got a scooby.

You can't stop telling lies/making things up.

Above you say 'I don’t have any agenda and I don’t care for something that happened (a) long time ago'. Now you want to read about it. Make your mind up.
Because I would like to have a knowledge of it in case it is brought up again. I don’t care about the accusation itself but would love to know if it’s false for obvious reasons

I think it’s highly unlikely that performing enhancement pills are used given the scrutiny nowadays. Although it’s not something unheard of. It’s shameful but Everton was the last club that won the league by using performance enhancement drugs. It’s never happened since.

Surely this is enough to ban this character. It's sort of extracting the urine having such obvious [Phrase removed] as him and @everton 1970 coming on here and repeatedly talking the brown stuff.
If they're not going to be banned, then probably best to put them on ignore and let them howl in their own echo chamber.

Look up the Liverpool betting scandal while your there, also Brucies alleged bungs, theres also the clubs managed decline of Anfield, just in case you need more knowledge to defend us Blues

On another subject...the speed in which they take throw ins and free kicks is incredible. It's like watching on fast forward. It's a game plan, and it works. They will take any advantage, dives, moving ball forward, getting in refs face, watering the pitch oddly but they have now cottoned into this as a helping them they are all in on it, players, ball boys and Klopp was moaning referee was stopping them this week.
They will be all over us with this tactic next week.

I would like to read about it
Get yourself a copy of Harry Catterick’s biography by Rob Sawyer.

Details in there, all unfounded allegations proven untrue.

I think it’s terrible that we bring up Heysel every now and then
I think it’s terrible it happened in the first place.

I also think it’s terrible to forget such things - you only learn from the past by remembering.

He who forgets the past is doomed to repeat it.

Well quoted.

It never happened then either.

Thanks for the guidance. I think if it was proven wrong then it should have been widely reported. It’s bad that even a simple google search doping in sport Wikipedia page covers Everton doping scandal as it was a true incident. I think it shouldn’t be the case if Everton was clear of charges.

Regarding Heysel, I don’t think anyone can forget that. It was too bad to forget but what I really think is that we should stop using it as a weapon. RS hate doesn’t or shouldn’t supersede our values. I am sorry if My comments unintentionally struck a wrong chord. Everyone has their own opinion and if people want to bring up Heysel and talk up controversy that doesn’t exist then so be it.

I also think no one really speaks such stuff outside of internet. This platform gives us that freedom to tell things which we won’t otherwise say it. I personally draw a line to what I should say or not.
