This article was discussed on this forum quite openly. A few of our more august forum members remember the season and allegations well. I recommend that @Ciao go there for further information. I invite him to tell us his most hilariously absurd or downright weird bugbear about the rs. Is it climbing up a traffic light and jerking off to the cheers of his fellow rs? Is it fanta scruff getting sparked? Is it fountain scruff or books about daring to dream? Is it robbing your fellow fans of cup final tickets? Racist supporting t-shirts? Not letting it slip? The fkw that turn out in full force every other week?

I think it’s highly unlikely that performing enhancement pills are used given the scrutiny nowadays. Although it’s not something unheard of. It’s shameful but Everton was the last club that won the league by using performance enhancement drugs. It’s never happened since.

I didn’t check because I wasn’t bothered. I don’t have any agenda and I don’t care for something that happened long time ago. Same reason I don’t care about bringing up Heysel. I just wanted to put it out here because it was the first time I read something like that. I was trying to search if it’s possible for footballers to use PEDs for being successful and that article showed up. I didn’t come across any other article accusing any other club so that was the reason I was slightly shocked. However it’s too old to have any relevance now.

The Klopp appointment date and article date are close by and by no means that article was meant to cover up RS doping their way to win the league which was the idea of some post here. All I wanted to highlight that it wasn’t the case. All you wanted to highlight is I was wrong and Klopp was appointed before that article was posted and thereby implying that it might be cover up for RS which is simply BS.

It’s not even comparable to what RS did, do and what they stand for. I just don’t like speaking about tragedy that resulted in loss of human lives and use it as a cheap shot on them. Not worth it IMO
