Truthfully, I don’t despise the RS as much as some on here do. I have family that are reds, it’s pretty stupid to use the word ‘despise’, whether it be their fans or the club. Dislike, a heathy dislike, is what rivalry should be. A bit of banter and a laugh. I just think a lot of the stuff on here goes beyond rivalry. I hate what the modern Derby and rivalry has become. It’s a sad indictment on modern society.

The rs have a long charge sheet, now god forbid ,if the rolls were reversed would they let us forget about it?

Answer. I would think they were extremely sad. Question. Why do new (ish)posters that are negative, question posters that post lies and half truths, and are brutally honest in their assessment of our Club, get their allegiance questioned?

Answer. This site has had a few Liverpool fans come on over the years doing what you have stated in your reply. I wouldn't question any Evertonian who had anything negative to say about Everton. I am rarely positive about the club.

I would have plenty of questions for an Evertonian who slags of Everton constantly but seems to defend Liverpool the club and their fans at every opportunity.

They take every opportunity to belittle us, whilst indulging in mind blowing hyperbole as regards themselves.

Banter is fine as long as we are on the receiving end, but try satirising them and it all turns nasty.

TBF, that goes for most football fans. We've done the hyperbole and set ourselves up for a fall 3 years ago. All football fans are the same. Extremely precious and defensive of their team. When your team is winning they're great. When losing, we don't like oppo fans giving it out. But that's rivalry. My wife and 2 kids are Reds, they've been giving me a good ribbing the last few weeks. It's hard and it's frustrating as I can't really give anything back at the moment becuse of where they are. And I'm not exactly gonna start calling my wife and kids murderers! etc etc. It just seems on here, with each passing win for them the tone is becoming more nasty and sinister. A lot of the things on here wouldn't be ok if it were said of them in a boozer, yet it's taken as being ok on here. Some of their fan base don't cover themselves in glory but neither do ours. By all means, let's have a laugh at them but let's get back to banter without being nasty. I dread to think of our fan base if they did win the League, it's best enough now.

My wife is a Kopite and she knows 100% that Kopites are Gobshites.

She's a lovely lady right up until the point football is discussed when it doesn't matter how much cheating, diving, feigning, lying goes on, as long as they win at all costs "I'm not arsed"
