ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Even Merson yesterday, after the Tompkins goal was chalked off, threw his hands in the air and said "may as well give Liverpool the title now then eh?"

This is no conspracy theory, it's not 'bitter blues', it's widespread and even Kopites now chant Li-VAR-pool.

But we even have some Evertonians who claim not to see it.

@nsno-chris

I haven’t claimed anything David. I don’t care about the RS, I don’t watch or care anything about them. But I’m glad you’ve taken even more time out of your day to fuel the demons in your head.

I think you need a hobby, try knitting

Just saw their two goals, ugh, they are a lot of crummy, lucky truckers, ar'nt they. Got another break off VAR, but their last goal, typical Liverpool, shot, deflection, touch off the keeper and rolled in after hitting two posts, sigh, does their luck ever change. They've won the league, they have a way of playing that just stops other teams playing and rely almost totally on crosses for their goals, it works.

.
Maybe one or two var decisions have gone for them but probably also one or two against them - same as most other teams.

They've lost a single game in ages and dropped only a couple of points all season.
You don't do that unless you have a team that knows what it's doing and has a game plan suited to the strengths of it's players.

Hi blue mate, what ones were them?

Last season it was.

RS wont win anything when VAR comes in

This season its LiVARpool.

First season with VAR and they are running away with it. What people haven't realised is it's the same people running VAR that were making the decisions last season.

The big difference with VAR is that it uses the myth of technology-led objectivity.

It isn't.

In commentary last night for the Copa Libertadores final it was mentioned that in advance of the game a video ref was slung out of their scheduled place in the booth for the final because of their expressed view of a River Plate player in the past.

This system is very human and subjective, but it likes to give the impression it's not.

It's a monstrous development in the game. It decides who wins what and doesn't have to explain itself.

I for one will welcome the day you learn to spell. Did you say you were 28 or 8?

'EPL'? Seriously, who calls it that? Although you will possibly notice that what I used there are called 'capital letters'. I know they look strange and frightening, but they're quite harmless...

Best of luck to you and your beloved reds. Great bunch of lads... :coffee:

ignorant twit.. I can call it whatever i want its called epl for short if I use capital letters or not who cares.. get lost.

Ban, it's that simple
Stadium threads another one they like, i used to put lists on here of the obvious ones but got told not to after one of them had a cry.

This one has that whiff about it

Simply pointing out that the people making the VAR decisions are the same ones that constantly helped the RS last season with dodgy decisions so why would anything change with VAR and why are people so surprised the RS have been given a helping hand? Like Dave said above VAR gives the illusion of being none biased but it still has that human factor about it who just so happen to be the same incompetent officials we had last season.
