I must be one of the only people who actually thinks that Gakpo is a very decent player. If you ask me - it is him and not Salah who has been getting dug out recently and most reds seem to still think they have the 2024 version of Salah sitting on their bench, genuinely scratching their heads over why he isnt starting when the reality is that he is likely finished at the top level now..

I really dont think that Salah actually respects Liverpool Football Club as much as their fans think yeno.

This isnt the first time that he's openly talked himself up as one of their all-time greats and paints himself as a figure that is bigger than the club itself..

He's a 1 trick pony Gakpo, all he can do is cut inside and as soon as he does he'll get a shot away. They're massively missing Diaz, could play across the front, had goals, had assists and more importantly he was defensively superb.

They miss Diaz and (hold on, here me out here) Nunez too, or at least to an extent. They had a front line who pressed from the front - they were relentless.

Isak won't press and Salah's legs look like they've gone, so their intensity from the front has completely gone. This has put pressure on their midfield.
