ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Craig burley on espn I’ve just saw it on twitter, absolutely destroyed the best defender ever, calling him a coward and he’s been worse then any of his teammates but always points the finger

Burley said: “He does everything wrong... the pass, doesn't close it down and turns his back like a coward. I'm fed up of sitting here and it's Mo Salah who is not playing well, Florian Wirtz can't find his feet, Alexander Isak (the same), the midfield's dynamic has changed.

“He is the barometer of what is wrong this year. He is supposed to be the leader by what he does on the field and how he manipulates the back line and talks to people. All he's done all season is throw [Milos] Kerkez under the bus, who didn't play, throws his arms in the air, makes as many mistakes as any other player; they're not always as high profile as ‘Ibrahima] Konate's or anyone else who makes mistakes but Van Dijk, every game you can watch him and go: What's been doing, why is he doing that?

I wonder will there be bullets behind Advent Calendar Door 4 in the Burley household?

Look, Clattenburg was crap and egotistical. It was rumoured he was dodgy 20 years ago and had gambling debts. Pretty sure he got suspended for a while when his Electrical firm he set up went pop. He apparently owed a bit of money to dodgy characters. Could he have thrown games to pay gambling debts, possibly so.

Anyway, onto the third day of asking.

You still haven't pointed out when I have defended the RS getting favourable decisions. Please find one example.
One just has to go through the video catalogue of Stevie Starfish penalty dives for a start. Fouls that don't result in cards that are far worse than those committed by the opposition that do. The ridiculous amount of time added on when they're trailing or tied as opposed to the bare minimum when they're ahead. The vast majority of VAR calls in their favour.
It's all happening too regularly and often so blatantly that Helen Keller could see it. There's no doubt in my mind that these officials are scared 💩less of being demoted -- or worse, knowing that lot's propensities -- if they rock the boat. Just look at how differently the refs in Europe handle them.
The PL is nothing but a global marketing program and the teams that drive the program can't be allowed to fail. Are the refs actually told to favour the RS et al? No (at least I really hope not), but they can see which side of their toast gets the butter.

Getting that framed and put on my bedroom wall

We need to see Slot winning a couple of back to back games then lose one; then win another game, then draw one; then win two more back to back; then lose one; then win one and draw two; then win one and lose one.

That sort of sequence will drive them 'kin mad. They wont know whether to stick or twist.

The objective has to be to prop Slot up and preserve him...like a football version of a Weekend at Bernies.
They've got their work cut out at Leeds at the week-end. You need to continue the bucket-loads of sympathy for Snot when they lose...

The BBC letting Van Dijk have it... sort of..

It was encapsulated in the 67th minute on Wednesday when Chemsdine Talbi gave Sunderland a deserved lead, Van Dijk giving the ball away before standing off and turning his back on a 25-yard shot that struck him and drifted out of the reach of goalkeeper Alisson.

For a defender of such undoubted greatness, Van Dijk has an unusual habit of turning his back on the ball, sometimes to Liverpool's cost.

Exactly in Europe it’s a totally different situation, they don’t get favoured like in the prem it’s clear to see

Was watching their game with the wife and after they scored she said why have they turned up the sound for their fans, one of things you think you're over thinking but just seen this:
It was the same before the match during that song. Sunderland fans almost drowned it with their chants so Gerry & boys was toned up. It wasn't the Kopites who did it.
