ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

…..bottom line for me is with all that attacking talent, they throw VVD up top for the last 15mins.

That’s an amazing admission of desperation and losing the plot.
Well, maybe it's also an admittance that he'll do better up front compared to how he's currently doing in defence, because he's been poor!

Their full backs aren't currently up to the standard and Konate isn't great in my eyes, yet he's regularly being isolated due to VVD shying away.

Slot doesn't know how to shape their defence, and it doesn't help he's trying to shoe horn Wirtz into a system that doesn't really work with him in it.

McAllister, who was arguably one of their best players last year, looks a shadow of himself, and Szoboszlai keeps getting moved around the pitch.

They have no shape, no consistency and no ideas how to remedy it, and long may it continue with Palace, Villa, Madrid and City the next four games.

Btw Gakpo has been their best player by a country mile this season, which is mad considering the players they brought in this summer and their insistence that they still miss Diaz

Slippy is still sitting there out of work. A few more defeats and I'm expecting there'll be a clamour on the streets of Oslo, Bangkok and Singapore for Slippy to step in and try to save them from relegation.
Unfortunately they’re is a couple of good managers and lesser prem clubs. Doubt they get Gerrard
