ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

This is what the BBC has said when telling the story if the new Heysel memorial.
One things for sure, crumbling stadium or not, it would not have happened with any other team playing there, not one.

Blame for what happened was initially laid entirely on Liverpool fans, and 14 were later found guilty of manslaughter and jailed.
An investigation did concede that some culpability lay with the Belgian authorities, and the crumbling state of Heysel Stadium.

“Must… not…. criticise tricky reds”

Radio Merseyside had clips of Hansen, Grobbelaar and commander Rotherham all saying the stadium wasn’t fit and was collapsing around them. They also said the usual lines of the officials, police and uefa were letting ticketless fans into the ground, funny how it’s always when they play it’s never their fault isn’t it?

Commander Steve also had the plums to state that JFT39 is nonsense as they received justice with the 14 reds who were charged with manslaughter.

Disgraceful comments from a so called public servant imo.

Any other English team involved - that doesn’t happen, bad stadium or not.

Evertonians were rightly praised a week before those animals disgraced us all.

This latest monument is another denigrating, tasteless act by a club that has no soul or class.

Never forgive, never forget.

You shamed this city, you are a stain on football and you always will be.

I’d sooner die with our history and live with theirs.

Forza Angeli - JFT39.

A disaster is a serious disruption to a community or society, causing widespread human, material, economic, or environmental losses that exceed the ability of the affected area to cope using only its own resources. These disruptions can be caused by natural hazards, human actions, or technological failures. Disasters often result in a significant number of people being affected, sometimes exceeding 100.
