ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

If we come back as any sort of force in football this lot are going to combust, they can’t even deal with us equalising against them. God forbid we beat them on the way to a trophy, there’ll be civil unrest.
They're still not over it. They are so desperate for anything to point score. They are Clutching on from what that fan did last night, when he scored. It screams desperation to me. But, you've gotta love to see it. It really did boil their piss

Never known a fanbase to be hurting so much considering the position that they're in.

We discussed this after the derby.. but again there seems to be this wanton desire amongst their fanbase to be loved & lauded by all and, because they're getting literally the opposite, it's wound them right up. They're like a wounded animal lashing out at everything and everyone, even with stuff that literally doesn't concern them (like, most recently, our test event last night). They're desperately trying to find 'wins' from other sources that aren't on the pitch and it's absolutely ridiculous some of the stuff that they're desperately trying to reach for..

Proper, proper rattled they are.
This.

If they win they want EVERYONE to say how brilliant they are.

If they dont win they want a national enquiry. Every official needs to have all kinds of background checks done to see if theres anything that links them to being anti RS.

Seen a tweet saying this is the FA getting them back for the Coote stuff. They are one step away from claiming the earth is flat and that birds are really CIA spies.

Imagine being top of the league, getting a point to move 7 clearer in a game that you could easily have lost, and then carrying on like this.

Ive never known a more needy, insecure and arrogant fanbase.

Most amusing to see plenty of them on social media dining out on the Wigan lad making gestures to us last night after being outraged and taking the moral high ground when Doucouré did the same to them in the derby.

Let's not forget they had no problem
when Trent did it to Man City fans. Biggest set of hypocrites in football.
The first goal at BMD was scored by a Liverpool fan.. Wasn't the first goal at Anfield scored by an Everton player? Who won the first title at Anfield? Given that firsts are so important to them.

Even Slot is rattled by it in his presser. Can’t stand the attention being off them for one second. Narcissistic tits.
Kopites, all the time.

Thing is, the more intellect of 'em have realised there's still 13 matches to go and they've been in trouble form-wise for some time now. Three straight matches where the refs literally bailed them out. They're playing skythe and it's only a matter of time when it's starts to show on the board for real. If their course on the pitch doesn't change pretty quick, they will slip this one too.

The thing they don't quite understand that the majority of Blues don't give a crap about what the Wigan lad did. I will be honest, I did not make the connection until I read the BBC article about the game/stadium.

Also with Doucoure incident, any other clubs fans (the sane majority) would not be arsed about what he did, and it may have been the case with them if Jones had not come in. Doucoure does that and there are a few shouts from the away end, a few cheers from the home end and that is the end of the matter. The only reason it has been blown up like it has is because of what Jones did.

Talksport last night saying how much they 'loved' to see Jones doing what he did, 'sticking up for his team mates and fans'. Astonishing. Imagine that the other way round, with Jones winding the fans up and Doucoure steaming into him. There would be questions about his punishment on Prime Minister's Question Time by now.
