ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Keane spot on. Caught the last 20 minutes and it was a good game to be honest but Robertson complaining about that? Kidding aren't you? Superb elbow though, boof have that. Why was Fabinho allowed to yet again get away with attempted gbh? That penalty miss was dodgy and all. Stephen Lee snooker levels of inquest needed.

Just not sure why Sky built that game up making out it was the game of the season or something. It didn’t decide the title. It wasn’t between two title contenders. Liverpool are mid table. It was a classic case of a very good team allowing the home team to get back into it with a bit of huff and puff. Not a lot of quality on display from either side in the second half.

Sky’s post match coverage trying to build up into a PL classic. Their obsession with that club and that stadium is just ridiculous.

It was embarrassing how he did a cheap imitation of Guardiola’s tactic with Stones, and how it completely and utterly failed. He’s always been this sort of blert that just wants a headline or soundbite to show how clever he is. He’s a manager with one tactic, dope his players, and then when that doesn’t work he’s got nothing else apart from lumping it into the mixer and hoping for a lucky bounce

Klopp has made the most out of motivational skills in his career. And at Liverpool the sporting director Michael Edwards who bought all the players was the real genius. As soon as he frigged off they fell apart.

I'd like to know how many misplaced passes there was in that second half.

It was like watching the Chuckle Brothers for large periods.

I hate them as much as anyone as its pretty clear from this thread

But why do they have this magical power at home? Even g nev and keane said when they played etc and RS where crap for most of that

When it was behind closed doors they went crap at home didnt they cant be coinsidance

it is very annoying i literally never expect them to loose at home

The best thing to happen out of all this would be for the linesman to be punished. Robertson will forever be seen for the snide he is by all refs. He's the archetypal jovial lad when things are going Liverpool's way, but cannot stand it when he's being mugged off. I loved it. I can't stand him personally and he is v fortunate to have played in a v good Liverpool side. He's being found out now.
Either way they will be the victim. We all know how this will play out. black armbands and tshirts for poor old Robbo. And thecweek thats in it too!

I think it’s just hyped up more. All of the sky six have pretty good home records. Pundits and the media don’t bang on about the Etihad though when City win a game, or about an Old Trafford factor if United are doing well. With the other teams it’s all about the players and managers. When Liverpool win thought he media report it as the Anfield effect, and the myth grows from there.
