ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

I have no great love for Liverpool fans but you should be ashamed of yourself for a post like that.

I work for the NHS in Liverpool and we are dealing with people who were involved in the horrific events in Paris. According to Ian Byrne the MP for West Derby three Hillsborough survivors have taken their own lives since the events of Paris.

This forum has an excellent and busy thread on mental health problems. Maybe you should think before you post ill thought out hateful posts like the one above.
When you say you work for the NHS in Liverpool and are dealing with people who were involved in the horrific events in Paris, in what way? Let me guess they were trying to climb ovr fences to get in, slipped and broke ankles? Or were they traumatised by hoared of ticketless fans?

Absolute co-ordinated media blitz about this lad atm. Really demonstrates the total media bias towards the RS.

And even if he goes and plays terribly someone else will be the scapegoat.

Still remember Gerrard going up for a nothing ball, back headering it to put someone through on goal and somehow it was Jags positioning which was at fault.

Fans were crushed when the Police sent them into an underpass that was blocked with Police vehicles. They were then attacked and tear-gassed. One of my colleagues, a surgeon was hit over the head with a bottle and then stabbed by locals right infront of Police officers who completely ignored what was happening.

I suppose he deserved it as well. For having the temerity to support a rival team.

The thing is a similar thing happened in Lille when a 100 hundred hooded locals attacked our fans with metal bars, chairs and basically anything they could get their hands on. Remarkably, the local Police stood by and let it happen. The next day. The same Police force were tear-gassing our fans including kids.

That set up happens at every event hosted at Stade de France. Certainly on every one of my visits for multiple footy and rugby games.

If the correct amount of fans show up with legit tickets there is not an issue.

There were clearly fans that evening that went through traumatic events but these events were largely caused by their own fans trying to bunk in which swelled the numbers and caused the hold ups. Paris being probably the most accessible city in continental Europe made it easier than in previous fixtures for the excessive numbers.

They bragged about doing it at past games and some tweeted about getting into Paris and hastily deleted so the blame could be shifted to Uefa and the police.

Their behaviour at games has been appalling and they keep brushing it under the carpet or blaming somebody else. Getting away with it has finally led to the events in Paris where, fortunately, nobody was killed.

Your surgeon colleague should thank those french police for averting another disaster.
