ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

The problem with French politics is that you only have two options Le Pen is far right or the alternative is Macron who is a right of centre so-called centrist. The two options are the frying pan or the fire.

What we need to stop doing as a socialist fan base is legitimising the actions of the French Police as St Domingo and Davek did. That is unforgivable.

Tactically though, the ideas of the United front are to build unity with the centre at the expense of the far right?

If the French state attack the far right, we shouldn't be on the far rights side IMO.

That is kind of missing the point. How are UEFA allowed to horrifically mismanage events year in year out and face no consequences. This is the organisation that left Rangers fans in Sevilla in May with no water.

They are a disaster waiting to happen. Who manage to serve up disaster after disaster.

I mean, theres a school of thought that says Rangers fans could cause a riot in a lift. I wasnt in Seville, but it's pretty obvious to me who the responsible party would be for any problems there. Anyone who has experienced Rangers fans would probably draw the same conclusion.

Why didn't you answer the question. Why were UEFA allowed to apologise for leaving Rangers fans without water on a boiling hot night in Seville. Anyone else would have faced sanctions.

Why do England games pass off largely without trouble yet when UEFA organised the Euro's final at Wembley it was carnage.

UEFA are inept yet escape sanctions.

Come on mate, England games don't pass off without incident. They are a menace of a fanbase, constantly going around the continent singing inappropriate songs about World Wars etc.

And the disorder at that final had nothing to do with UEFA. It was drunken gammons, itching for a fight, keen to bring football back to the 80s. Loads turned up without tickets, broke in etc. At some people these people have to take some responsibility, and hopefully will stop coming to football, as they are not welcome. They make my teeth itch.

I went to a rangers game years ago, I was in Malta and they happened to be playing Valletta in a euro game so I thought it would be rude not to go.

It was horrible, a nasty vile atmosphere, full of pointless religious bigotry

Yes.

They dont need UEFA or anyone else to cause problems. They are quite capable of doing it themselves.

It will be the Catholics fault they forgot to bring water no doubt.

The compo claim - from their head ambulance chaser, Gerard Long:

“We are representing people who suffered physical crushing injuries at the turnstiles, and very many people who have suffered psychologically; some were in fear of their lives,” Long said. “Clients have reported anxiety, PTSD, nightmares, never wanting to go to a European football match or even France again."

Every time I walk into the Lidl and see a baguette I relive the nightmares.

The first 2 lines don’t sit right with me at all, it’s like they are likening it to Hillsboro. We have seen the videos and it was nothing but a bit of pepper spray. As someone pointed out earlier in the thread, won’t they have to show their valid ticket to prove they were there?
