ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

its not as if no one foresaw what would happen, comments were aplenty on here about the stupidity of encouraging people to go to Paris without tickets, we knew what would ensue. I suppose if you believe all the RS biased media from all their previous incidents that it is never their fault...

Exactly, I went to check the score after about 15 minutes and saw that it had been delayed, my very first thought was 'What did they do?', went to the BBC site and straight away the thought was proven right.

OK, when looking into it more there will be blame to be apportioned elsewhere, i.e. could the tickets be more difficult to fake, did the police overreact, etc. but at the end of the day, not one mainstream media outlet dares to give them any blame at all, nothing mentioned about Klopp's comments before the game and, for me, especially after the game about next year.

In fact, some give the fans all the praise and call them heroes, it just feeds the fire that is in their warped brains. The behaviour is rewarded with praise, they think that it is OK to do what they do and it is everybody else that is in the wrong. Too many people turn up, well, that isn't our fault, you should see this happening and work out a way of letting us all in.

As said at the time there were probably failures across all three parties (Liverpool, Uefa, French authorities) when the incident is viewed in retrospect, but the limitations in uefa’s processes or local authorities arrangements never seem to get exposed by any other fan base.

Liverpool’s fans and their state sponsored propaganda arm seem to want to peddle a view of the world where Uefa and local authorities at events like this should be operating a system that allows as many of their fans as they want to behave as badly as they might want to with zero repercussions for anyone involved. Thent hey have the brazen cheek after the event to accept absolutely zero responsibility for any part they played in it just because they can find some ‘what about this though’ line to shift blame on another party. They then get their media acolytes to pile in on that party line.

It stops being a coincidence when the same group of fans are always involved in trouble. Eventually someone at that club has to look inwards, can’t always be someone else’s fault when it keeps happening.
the club never blamed themselves but just a few bad individuals when they killed 39, a few kids getting tear gassed is nothing for them to start looking inwardly.

Davek defending UEFA and Saint Domingo defending the French Police. I take it neither of you were present in Lille when our fans were attacked and tear-gassed. You seem to egg each other on in a race to the bottom. Pair of absolute whoppers.
Whats OUR fans being treated badly got to do with Liverpool fans causing all this trouble for themselves?

Completely ignoring what happened to our fans in Lille at the hands of UEFA and the French police and then defending both organisations just because the other lot were involved is beyond contempt. It shows how low some of our fans will stoop and how all rationale goes out of the window.

How can someone like St Domingo actually praise the French police, a politicised organisation that attacks Macron's opponents for fun. Try googling some of the absolute atrocities routinely performed by the French Police. Especially when plenty of our fans have been on the receiving end of what the French Police regularly dish out.

Yes, every organisation has to fit in with the culture of blagging that Liverpool fans have. If that doesn't happen then the surge happens and it all breaks down. That in a nutshell what's happened here.

Even the Guardian-Conn crony report conceded that Merseyside Police flagged up counterfeiting before the final which was bound to cause an overload of people at the stadium perimeter; add to that the message from Klopp to get out their in tens of thousands and it's not difficult to see what the authorities were faced with.

I'v never seen anything like this Guardian reporting in all my life: since May they have been like a dog with a bone trying to out Kult the Kultists in the denial of everything. It'll be fever pitch levels by the time this report is published in November. You'd think there'd been a mass catastrophe like Heysel rather than a few teary eyes and sore throats. And the Guardian and Conn are scurrilously blackguarding African immigrant youths to cover their tracks of the riotous Kopites too. It's 'kin shameful - but that's the Guardfian for you: wolves in liberal clothing. Tory gets to a man they are.

They are proper crying poverty over transfers and money given to manager.

Makes no sense to me, why spend £70 million on 1 player then !?!

Why not spend that on 3 players to imporve the team properly !?!

I agree with you. Those poor Madrid fans also had no end of problems getting in as well. Sorry, I'm assuming this is correct since I remember reading about Madrid fans bragging about selling fake tickets and, of course, I recall reading that Ancelloti had said "travel without tickets" to Madrid fans because he wanted a party atmosphere.

You do realise they are completely separate events right and one has no baring on the other?
What the French police did in Lille does not in anyway justify what Liverpool fans did at that final.
Quite bizzare post you make, Saint Domingo is spot on. The police need praise because somebody easily could of got killed there, as it stands no fatalities was a positive outcome

It's being rightfully pointed out that there's a cause and effect here. If the Kopite culture to swarm European finals with tens of thousand more fans than have tickets is allowed to happen then the effect of that is to find out any flaws in stadium organisation and policing. It occurs way too regularly for that not to be accepted as the fundemantal reason for it happening to one particular football club.

The likes of Tony Evans knows it too...he's squealing like a stuck pig trying to suggest the whole world dont want to understand their side of the argument....the trouble for him is that the whole world knows and understands only too well where they are coming from and they wont be fooled again.
