ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

That rat David Conn preparing more ground here on UEFA - implying cronyism and a broken organisation...all softening up stuff for the big denial of their findings in November on the last Liverpool riot.

A shameless get masquerading as a crusader for the game but who has his head right up the arse of Mansour's lot at City.

Ha Ha Ha.

That Guardian report is comical.

A handful of people got tear gassed. There was no major injuries never mind fatalities and they publish The Kopite version of the Warren Commission.

You can see what these hacks (who would never even mention the word Heysel, btw) are trying to do: set up the upcoming UEFA Report as a whitewash against Victimpool.

They 'kin rioted (again) and these middle class muesli munching useful idiots are determined to prove their *innocence*.

The whole world knows what they are.

The French police should be praised for saving lives. That’s the top and bottom of it. They dished out the only language that lot understand and avoided a stadium disaster. If the correct number of fans were queueing in an orderly fashion in good time for the game, why would any police officer decide to tear gas anyone? That’s the question no one has answered, because we all know what the answer is, fans without tickets arriving late, trying to get in, climbing barriers, kicking off with other fans, and causing such a scene that the police felt they had to intervene for the safety of everyone. Pravda can spin it anyway they want.

Be fair mate, Conn has done excellent investigative work on Hillsborough and numerous football finance stories going back to his days on When Saturday Comes. Not everything has an agenda

I know personally somebody who works on the international side of the game at UEFA and most around him think the club side is completely broken.

We all know thousands of RS turned up without tickets, we all know what happened, but David Conn isn't part of the problem.

Conn has lost his way and his marbles I think.

He completely obliterated his reputation by writing a book about the Mansour-inspired revolution at City that completely exonerated the type of wealth brought into that club and tried to argue that these billionaires who ruled over a midden of a country that has appalling social and human rights issues were genuine good faith 'custodians' of Man City. It was a whitewash. A kiss ass tome. A very embarrassing u-turn. He has no credibility for me.

This stuff on UEFA and that Paris final is massively overblown. Look at how few people were real casualties. Conn has got involved with the Kopite spin machine and he's gone native. He's badly trying to curry favour with them, and there's no stone he wont unturn - real or imagined - to get a story to pacify them.

It's blindingly obvious what's happening here with these latest reports. As said above: this is all softening up - the groundwork prepared to reject the UEFA findings in November. Only a complete ingenue would fail to see it as such.

Correct. And what the Kopite media try to do is emphasise the number of kids who were caught up in the tear gassing...but why were they caught up in it? Their dads brought them to a stadium and the vast majority had no 'kin tickets. The parents need reporting for putting their own kids in harms way.

its not as if no one foresaw what would happen, comments were aplenty on here about the stupidity of encouraging people to go to Paris without tickets, we knew what would ensue. I suppose if you believe all the RS biased media from all their previous incidents that it is never their fault...

As said at the time there were probably failures across all three parties (Liverpool, Uefa, French authorities) when the incident is viewed in retrospect, but the limitations in uefa’s processes or local authorities arrangements never seem to get exposed by any other fan base.

Liverpool’s fans and their state sponsored propaganda arm seem to want to peddle a view of the world where Uefa and local authorities at events like this should be operating a system that allows as many of their fans as they want to behave as badly as they might want to with zero repercussions for anyone involved. Thent hey have the brazen cheek after the event to accept absolutely zero responsibility for any part they played in it just because they can find some ‘what about this though’ line to shift blame on another party. They then get their media acolytes to pile in on that party line.

It stops being a coincidence when the same group of fans are always involved in trouble. Eventually someone at that club has to look inwards, can’t always be someone else’s fault when it keeps happening.
