I agree. We should have bought and played with a centre midfield of Sigurdsson, Barca cast off Gomes and Gueye. That midfield would have gotten us better results again Bayern, PSG, Barca.

Also, to the folks talking about kick and rush football, I thought the issue with Liverpool was that they couldn't break down a packed defence as per the wisdom imparted by Everton folks for years, so how can anyone play kick and rush against a defence which is sitting back.
I know tactical understanding isn't good for people watching horrid football for years but still.

Try to at least be semi-logical in your bitterness.

How did you think the last season would pan out for us.
Every team hopes for a good season, unless you are a sadist. I hope we have a good season. I am not certain but hope we can go better than last season in terms of winning the PL. It may not happen and is very difficult. But, as long as it is not a disaster with bad things off the pitch and at least a top 4 finish or even without top 4, I think Klopp will continue.

Where did I say anything about our midfield? I absolutely hate Siggurdson and don’t rate Gueye at all so you’re picking on the wrong bitter here.

Last time I checked you also failed to win the league because you didn’t break down as many defences as City did. That’s not a bitter opinion just a fact.

Nice to see that even after a CL win though a few remarks against your football style that don’t fit in to the media guff you’ve been spoon fed has you biting immediately.
