Sound. I see no point in further discussing the subject with you because you have your view and I have my view. We’re not going to agree with one another, we’re just going to go round and round in circles.

One thing though, what, in your view, would amount to justice for the 39 people who lost their lives?. Genuine question, like.
Probably the same sort of justice that is being demanded for the 96.

We welcome fans from all clubs on the forum, ask @Yid4life @FOXINPEACE etc. They are comfortable enough to come on and openly be fans of the club they support and whilst we ridicule them from time to time they don't generally get a hard time.

It seems to just be the kopites for the most part that hide their identity and do this weird thing of trying to be an Everton fan, I mean some go to extraordinary lengths and must do a large amount of research to pull it off, we've seen it many times. It's very odd.
Putting 'blue' at the end of their username is hardly going to extraordinary lengths.

If they were more subtle they would probably cunningly mix the letters of 'blue' into their username.

The authorities, the fa, UEFA, FIFA and the media have washed this whole episode under the carpet and it is now, as it was then, a disgrace of the highest order.

I work with a bloke who is very intelligent. He knows all about Hillsborough but when he asked why there is such bad feeling towards the RS from us and I explained about Heysel he was gobsmacked. Totally unaware that the event had ever taken place.

They will never get justice as most rs fans dismiss the event as though it never happened. The biggest culprits are liverpool fc and their reluctance to honour the anniversaries of this tragedy. Even a former player steve macmahon has totally trivialised this by saying liverpool would be up to 8 or 9 C/L wins without the ban.

Does modern-day Liverpool fc not acknowledge the anniversary? I may be wrong but I’m pretty sure I seen something online last month on their official site. Admittedly, I didn’t open and read it.

I don't even go on the official Everton site, let alone Liverpools.

Me neither. I simply googled “Heysel” on the 29th of May 2019, to see if there was any mention of the anniversary from the mainstream media. There wasn’t but I did see something in relation to their official site.

Did you read it?

They acknowledge the tragedy but not the part their supoort played in murdering 39 people.

Do you agree with LFC avoiding the fact that they caused that tragedy?

What they did was send Susan Black, director of communications down and put a wreath at the plaque. A token gesture that's all.
