ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

The bandwagon hoppers are the absolute worst. There's a fella in my work from Barnsley who started supporting them in 2005 (coincidence hey) and he's adamant he's not a glory hunter.

My mates are all proper fans who have gone the game regularly at some point in their lives. No problem with them at all. It's the ones who think swinging a scarf from a few hundred miles away makes them part of a club. These people usually actually have the worst opinion on Scousers too.
I've mentioned it before, but one of my friends has a huge crush on Klopp, much to the disgust of her husband - who supports Man United - and has become a kopite despite not even being that arsed about footy until JK showed up. I mean, I wouldn't kick Klopp out of bed, but I wouldn't support a team purely based on how much I want to shag the manager, otherwise I'd currently be a Spurs fan. In fairness to her, though, she's never given me grief for being a blue. It's mainly blokes who do that, once they get over the whole 'woman liking football' thing.

Very good mate.
.
The desperation is starting to show a bit in here folks...suggest all take a nice Summer break from football :)

Really? I mean... REALLY?!

I think people who don't really like football watch the RS the same way they'd watch X-factor. Just jumping on the bandwagon to be involved. You saw similar last summer with England in the World Cup.
She admits this, goaded by her mates most likely.

The update anyway is that she's been hungover all day today and I've been giving her a hard time about it lol she got far too pissed last night.

If you don’t have BT sport, and fortunately I don’t, It’s amazing how easy it’s been (for those of us who don’t live in the city) to avoid the build up, the match itself and the aftermath. The footy season ended weeks ago, the game in Madrid was like some weird pre-season tour fixture.
