And after mostly 15 years of famine they did it in 2005. And again.

I am away for the weekend but I guess it’s unbearable back home. I’m not looking or listening - TV, paper, radio. Eventually it’ll die down.
 

They deserved to win that match last night. I thought they were always one step ahead of Spurs who hardly threatened.
No team deserves to win a cup if you’ve been beaten in it 4 times though.
But they believe, can’t stand the mutants but they do believe more than anyone else.

In a way it might not be a bad thing that they won it.
It gives our club no hiding place.
More importantly, I think, although we’ll never know, that this result has saved innocent people’s lives. This will subdue that collective madness they have. I think they were close to the breaking point of violence.

The prem is their drug of choice, I hope I never see them win that.
 

meh, arsed? Expected it, let's be honest, try explaining it to someone who doesn't watch football. The 2nd best team in england beat the 4th best team in England ... but haven't been the best team in England for about 60 years combined. I'll never forget the fact that they lost the league at goodison park, we'll still goad them about that next season, what will they come back with? 6 times lar? Haha, so what, you've changed a 5 to a 6, you're still utterly gutted we cost you the title, that's the one you actually wanted.

Also 2 of those 6 were not won as champions so they don't count. It's a lucky mouse cup now, whatever the hype.

The Champion’s League is a Mickey Mouse cup? I’m a Reading supporter and would do just about anything to have a sniff at playing in the CL. My missis is an Evertonian, so I generally support Everton in the Premier League, but can you honestly not see that getting 97 points and winning the CL might just have been a good season?
