I'm actually looking forward to the return leg. If the coach gets the City treatment it'll go global. And I think they've kidded themselves that they really have been unjustky beaten last night, enough to get the Berserkers on the front line and hurling themselves under the wheels.

Forgot about him...the biggest. I was more talking about it being endemic since the game became international teams really. Years back, European football was a pain because continental teams always did that stuff and it was not really prolific here. All changed and it is part of the game I really can't stand. I accept I am just an old git who preferred the game as it was. Always loved a great tackle, like the one Rodwell did to win the ball from Suarez and got sent off for playing the game perfectly.

The same unbelievable arrogance that thought they were going to pump 4 past double European champions Real Madrid in one half of football. Any other manager of any other team going to last season’s Madrid or Barca would adapt their tactics to try and get a result recognising they’re up against teams that have a footballing deity in them and better players on the bench than Liverpool have in their 11. Klopp has been subsumed by the whole ‘we are Liverpool’ myth. He thinks he can just go and surprise the best in Europe with a bit of kick and rush and the fans actually buy into it.

A shred of humility and tactical nouse and they could be sat here with a CL and halfway to another final but he cannot help himself and the fans are a mirror image. ‘They won’t have seen a team like us before’ - ok lads.
