Charge 1. Not rolling over for rs and mobilising the crusading stay-at-home horde.
Semantics, technicality, it's the he's year! No need to actually win, get out the bus, we can have a parade!Cech’s 24 came the year before Reina’s 20, sadly the tweet is correct
lol
Steven Gerrard says the "open wound" created by Liverpool's failure to win the Premier League in 2014 will not be healed even if Jurgen Klopp ends their 29-year wait for the title this season.
Captain Gerrard's costly slip (lol) gifted Chelsea a goal at Anfield in a game that ended in defeat and ultimately led to Manchester City winning the title.
"This wound's been open since my experience [in 2014]," said Gerrard. "I hope Liverpool [win] but it won't make my wound feel any different." (lollollol)

As he always used to spout, its not about him, its about the team and the club. Apart from if they achieve something he clearly failed to do of course. Because thats just not fair.lol

Imagine the scenes if City win the PL and Utd win the CL. The fume would be incredible
"Hi Stevie, any advice?"Gerrard, 38, still keeps in touch with some of his old team-mates and says "the door is open" to any Liverpool player who wants to chat about his experiences of title run-ins.
Hahahahaha
hi Steven mate, I just wondered if you could let me know what not to do to derail this title challenge of ours?
It's actually a tricky one. Klopp is obviously good motivationally and gives them belief to a certain level, but I don't think he has it in him to be that very top manager who delivers at the business end consistently. They're few and far between. If the players stay the same and a more tactically aware manager comes in and doesn't derail their confidence, they'd be dangerous. Good job, Pep or Ole aren't going there. Would Poch? Would Sarri? I don't think they would and I don't think the fans would want them. A foreign coach would be most likely, and that'd be a real roll of the dice in the short term.Klopp is good but we don't know if they'd get a better manager if he wandered off.. best leave things well alone.
Mane and VVD could see some serious interest in them. Almost all the elite teams would take them if the price was doable. Hell I'd have them in blue and forgive them their years in the wilderness that surrounds the promised lands of Goodison. lollollolIf they dont win it this year can see Mane being the first to go. VVD wont be far behind because he believes his own hype

They’d slip back down to Arsenal Chelsea level. Maybe even lower. Some of their players have been schooled only in Klopp’s frantic kick and rush football style. It’s one thing looking like. World class striker when all the time you are having two on one or three on two, but what if a new manager wants to play possession football and Mane and Salah are tasked with breaking down opposition defences sitting deep more often? They might not be anywhere near as effective. Same with the midfield, they’re great at chasing and harrying but what about when they have to build from the back? They’ve shown they can’t play this way.
Klopp is probably along with Conte the best counterattacking manager in Europe. This is probably as good as it gets for Liverpool playing this style. They’ve had their chances with finals to win stuff and could get the league. If they changed managers though they either go for Conte or they’re looking at a complete change in style with a possession based manager like Zidane or Ancelotti coming in and completely changing things. They arguably haven’t played possession football since Houllier. All of their teams since have been based on the tactic of Gerrard firing it forward quickly to a world class forward on the break (which is why they’ve been so poor relatively in the league for so long). It would take a huge squad overhaul to change that a possession based approach to football because their front three would not score the same as City’s so if they played like City do. Henderson Milner Wijnaldum Keita would be completely redundant in a possession based midfield.
