I have been wondering about that myself.
City go to United.....the RS host Chelsea.
They both have Spurs at home.
Outside of that they each have six games against mid tabl dross or relegation fodder.
I don’t know why this “RS have easier run in” belief came about.
Pretty much the same, I would have thought.
Their fixtures aren't easier but it's a coping method used by their supporters to convince themselves it will be ok.
You've had the anger, the threats, the intimidation, the hooliganism in the stadium, the turning on one another and offering each other out (and yes I include many of their famous podcasters who have been engaged in this, as well as their fans calling them false for being too positive) an enormous meltdown already. It's starting to calm a bit and the only way they can make sense of losing a 10 point lead but Klopp still having a masterplan is that City have harder fixtures.
The fixtures are pretty similar. If City don't win the league it will be down to injuries not fixtures.
