Dybala is younger and has a higher ceiling imo . Salah is not getting any better than he is now .

There's only a year between them and Dybala only has 2 goals and 6 assists in 20 Serie A games this year (7 and 6 in 28 games in all comps) while playing for comfortably the best team in that league. Salah is perfectly suited to the way they play so I think Dybala, no matter how brilliant he is, is a down grade on what they currently have with Salah.

I just think there's no substitute for pace and technically I don't see much between them.

Now Dybala in that team for Firmino, that would be a scary thought. Thankfully that won't be happening.

I see Guardiola sweeping Dybala up as a long term Aguero replacement. He’d be a replacement for Firmino rather than Salah and I can’t see that happening.
