Yeah they’re rubbish and it’s all luck that they’re first 25 games into the season.
An absolutely crushing blow for me that. Hopefully one day you’ll see me as the top blue I am.Get back to rawk lad...
You’ve played 23 games you idiot.Yeah they’re rubbish and it’s all luck that they’re first 25 games into the season.
Fabinho off injures though and Milner suspended which means someone else will have to fill in at full back. That win is annoying because tbh they’ve played absolutely awfully in every game since the turn of the year yet have only really been punished by City. Conceding 3 is worrying for them. They have a good first 11 and that’s it. An unbelievable injury record and some of the most incredible luck you’ll ever see is keeping them ahead of a side who should be about 5 or 6 above them now.
How can one team get so much handed to them in 1 season..
They could just buy another defender to give them a better chance of getting the league won.Milner suspended for next game... But again a bit of fortune that they don't play again for 11 days....probably enough time for Alexander-Arnold to recover and replace Milner, and also Fabinho to recover from his knock...
It is luck though (that they're top).... Man City have battered teams, and had 1 blip over the Xmas that's cost them a few points.... Liverpool are sneaking wins by the odd goal, getting penos, getting freaky lucky goals (another gift today, and lucky deflection for 2 of their goals).....this season could easily have been alot different...
Another piece of luck is the African Cup of Nations... For the first time it's on in the summer this season not January..... Liverpool would have lost Salah and Mane normally, which would have killed their challenge
The AFCON was moved in 2017. It’s not like it was moved two weeks ago. And is City having a blip about them or is it about the RS? Likewise if the RS have a blip is that “lucky” for city or is just something which teams go through? End of the day if a side gets over 95 points to win the league they will deservedly win the league.
For me though City just need to not have another blip and they WILL win the league. No way the RS are picking up maximum points against Spurs, Chelsea and United at Old Trafford. Today proved as well they can be got at by a mid table side so nothing is over. But this talk about “luck” and “devils luck” needs to just stop.
Palace's third choice keeper was your MoM.An absolutely crushing blow for me that. Hopefully one day you’ll see me as the top blue I am.
I've got this sneaky feeling they aren't far from imploding. City looked sublime the other night. Palace should have got something here. City aside, literally everything has gone their way this season. I just dont seem the winning the required matches. They are due some draws.
If they do win the league by 1 or 2 points I never want to see Pickford again in my life.
I don't think anyone is doubting that they're a good team who've been playing well this season.. but you can't deny that they have been getting tons of lucky breaks all the same. They could've easily drawn or lost another handful of games and City are still clearly the better side overall.Yeah they’re rubbish and it’s all luck that they’re first 25 games into the season.
About the only 'encouraging' thing to come out of today. They looked leaky at the back for the first time this season and on their own patch to boot.Fabinho off injures though and Milner suspended which means someone else will have to fill in at full back. That win is annoying because tbh they’ve played absolutely awfully in every game since the turn of the year yet have only really been punished by City. Conceding 3 is worrying for them.
