Just to add to the multitude of things going their way this season, but this is the first year that the African Cup of Nations has been moved to a summer tournament. They would've lost Salah, Mane and possibly Keita (not sure if Guinea qualified and cba checking). As well as that there is the Asia cup happening in the slot that the AFCON formerly held so Spurs are gonna lose a white hot Son for a month or so. It really is their year.

The timing of spurs' new stadium also prevented them from signing players last summer which would have improved their squad...with the addition of 3 quality players (like Liverpool were able to do), Spurs would be winning the league this year...
