As hilarious as a BBC sitcom.
A tattoo to celebrate staying second in the league. Magnificent. I wonder if he got the idea form Ramos. What does he have tattooed on his body... World Cup and Euros from Spain, Champions Leagues and Titles galore, plus he has a 3a1ah on his backside... I wonder what that means.
We did once produce a video called "The Magnificent Seventh!". Hopefully we're past that small time mentality now.Well they did publish multiple books and release a documentary about not winning the league in 13/14 so it’s kind of par for the course. They don’t win trophies any more so now celebrate fortuitous 1-0 derby wins instead. Didn’t they use to laugh at us for doing that in the 90s?

End of Season Stats:
League - 8th
League Cup - Losers in the final
FA Cup - 4th Round
Europa League - Losers in the final
They have brought a DVD out every single year yet haven't won ANYTHING since a League Cup in 2012. Yet we are small time.
If you roll enough gold glitter on it, they will sell it.
The point isn't the end of season video, all clubs produce them it's the title of it. The Magnificent Seventh! FFS we're not Burnley, it isn't magnificent to finish seventh. This video isn't called "The Amazing 8th", or "Double Finalists" it's called "Season Review 2015/16".View attachment 51801

The ALPT is in my opinion the crowning glory of their weirdnessI genuinely find them fascinating. Their strangeness isn't replicated by any other set of fans of any team in any sport.
I don't know if the cult attracts the personality type or if it creates them but they are just endless supply of unsurpassed oddness .
Paranoia, delusions of grandeur, phoney elevation of football to look passionate, defending racism, pretence of indifference to us but lose their ship when we paint the liver bird blue, celebrate like they won the treble on sunday etc
All of human weirdness is there.
It reached that far edge long ago. It then turned around with a glint in it's eye and charged off into the realms of insanity. The ALPT is in my opinion the crowning glory of their weirdness
It and the adulation it receives is right at the far edge of sanity and reason

If only there was an actual league table. Where you played everyone else home and away to understand how you performed against others. Can you imagine such a thing?A few games ago it had us in the relegation battle and Liverpool leading the league by 5 or so points. There’s not been many unexpected results since and we’re now 6th and they’re second. Yet they absolutely worship it.
