i.e. gutless. i would rather have someone who has the guts to stand by an opinion wether i agree with it or not, than a "i dont agree but can't be bothered attitude"

Gutless ?

Imagine what Brian Labone would think if he saw someone wearing the "no status no optimism" scarves.

He'd think that gutless and probably an insult to the club's motto

i dont agree with putting it on a scarf, but it sums up the board to a lot of people.
 

When I first saw the "no status no Optimism" scarfs I thought it was kopites with too much time on their hands trying to wind us up. I was well shocked when I saw it was our own fans.

I think the Ebepton scarfs are a great idea Matt, nice idea.

It's specific to GOT but it's typical scouse humour at it's best in my opinion, and most importantly it shows support for THE TEAM and THE PLAYERS.

What's the point in supporting us if you don't get behind the players. We all prefer certain players week in week out and have our favourites, but when we cross the white line and I'm watching the match, I'm backing us. Blue boys forever, Ebepton forever.

It still stands for Everton, it's just our way of saying it.
