Earl Barrett coaches at stoke academy see him all the time my lad plays for stoke academy under 12s barrett does the under 13s or 14s i think tell you what lads still looks as quick as ever

I remember earl barrett getting stick even when he was'nt playing by some beaut in the upper gwladys st, thought he was given a raw deal by us to be honest.

not for the first time, I say he was the best RB we had had for decades. Never got ripped by any player...just a shame he was gash going forward, but defense wise I haven't seen many better

bar from tony adams i dont think i saw any one play sharpy as good as earl , never worked out for him at goody park ,lovely feller top man ,

Absolutely nothing got past him, was lightening and one of the best man markers about at that time.

He was really crap at passing and stuff so didn't last long in what turned out to be a poor team. He would have played in the Cup Final if he wasn't cup tied I reckon.
