Its enough remembering to plug a phone in overnight, take the bins out, and see if we need milk first thing. Let alone plugging a car in.
Charging needs to be a lot quicker so it can be done at ‘fuel’ stations. It’s not realistic to expect people to charge from their homes. You can’t exactly have rows of terraced houses with cables running over the pavements.

Charging will be much quicker for newer cars built.

Some of the older models can only use 7KW AC charger but newer models will be built for high speed DC chargers.

I saw an article that it might be possible to get charging down to 10 minutes for a full charge. That’d be pretty good.
