It's not as good as green

So does this mean they never won the league and the CL twice over the last 15 years? Phew, just a bad dream.

Porsche have spent billions on development of a viable Eco fuel.

They really do not want their famed cars being full on electric and would prefer a combustion engine to still be around with pure clean fuel.

The classic car groups are all well aware of this and not overly concerned. The main issue is with cars that are not driven often allowing the E10 fuel to separate and the alcohol to attack rubber components. If you were running it in a daily, even a 20 year old one) you probably wouldn’t notice. Doesn’t affect my 21 year old car.

If you do run a genuine chrome bumper classic you would be looking at changing fuel lines and may be carbs, which most owners would happily do.

BTW, the valve seat recession talked about early is to do with leaded petrol, nowt to do with E10

Expensive as hell brand new, and you’d be daft to keep one outside of their warranty with replacement batteries costing £5k+.

I can see there being a lot of problems with electric cars. I’m not convinced they’re a good purchase just yet.

Smugtastic imo.

Its enough remembering to plug a phone in overnight, take the bins out, and see if we need milk first thing. Let alone plugging a car in.

I got a new Hyundai I10 last year, when I stop for example at the lights the engine turns off, green light comes on the dash, then when I put the clutch down it start the engine again.
I hadnt seen this before but I'm told its common in new cars.
I wonder, is that to save fumes? An environmental thing or does it save me petrol?
