What a sports week is now imminent : QFs of Cricket WC on Wed, Thurs, Fri and Sat, Everton in EL on Friday (morning NZT) and then some very appetising rugby and rugby league to fill in the gaps...think I'll mow the lawns now lol

While I desperately want to believe we can go all the way in this competition, the probable reality is that we will come up short against the likes of a Sevilla or similar.

The priority is and always will be Premier League survival, next years financial windfall may allow further incremental improvement if the money is invested prudently.

Yes, Thursday in Kiev is huge, but it really isn't everything.

Under moyes I would have expected a defensive performance with an expected defeat.

Under Martinez I expect us to go out and try and win the game, regardless of how utter garbage we've been all season.

Think its setup for a win, they'll need to come out and we can hit them on the break.
