dyche thinks

Davek = 🍊

Oh no, he's a lemon. Stand down.

Poor Dyche, the wotsit headed chump. We probably owe him some thanks, but he's so hard to like.
Nar, whatever he did when he was here, its over now, as I said before he left, hes gonna spend the next 3 years ripping us down and pretending that he wasnt the worst manager in our history and blaming everybody else that he dragged us into relegation battles.

What an utterly insane waste of time and energy to type all this.

It was his lack of winning football games we objected to, not his football.

This really

If we were winning 1-0 every week and pushing for Europe then we could leave our half of the field once per game and I wouldn’t have been arsed

Dyche was a results first manager that stopped getting results and had nothing else to fall back on once the results stopped coming in

He couldn’t rely on a magnetic personality or an interesting style of play

He had to win, and he stopped winning. And he looked like he had zero idea how to fix that, and basically admitted as such, so he got bounced

Benitez was worse by a country mile

Dyche at least won a Derby and had a solid mid-table points return in 2023/24 (the only reason we were as low down as we were was because of the points deduction)

He definitely should have been sacked and he’s a disingenuous trumpet, but fair is fair

Don't think it's as admirable as that mate.

He knew the writing was on the wall. His hard yard, nuts and bolts approach isn't working to a squad who have so many leaving, to a manager who is definitely gone in months. He even admitted while in the job late on, players stopped listening to him.

He also knew he wasn't getting a bean to spend in January - all that, was him admitting he can't do anymore, than 16th.

He should have left last summer, but he was managing the biggest club he'll ever get, on the biggest wage. If TFG took over first time around, he wouldn't have got this season.

Will credit him for keeping us up season one, and navigating/achieving 48 points in all the chaos second season. But that's it. He knew he wasn't getting a new deal, an thought be arsed with this lot for 5 more months when he can be paid anyway.

Fair reply that. Don't hate Dyche but he was the manager we needed at the time, but will freely admit hated his type of football, which is a testament to the loyalty of our fans really.
